Things that have happened in the last two months:
- Had my car broken into, macbook stolen
- Bought a new macbook pro
- Bought a new car
- Registered a fictitious business name
- Started researching survival and putting together my kit
- Scheduled this year’s Pirate Fest
- Learned a lot about Wordpress
Those are the big things. I had a giant to-do list that I made and ended up completing most everything on the list. It was a real motivator! The survival thing will be happening soon, I am reading the SAS manual right now and it’s chalk full of great information.
In other news, I finished a bunch of games. Mass Effect 2 was awesome. I really loved the story and the gravity of choices. It’s the type of game where you feel like you are sitting down to act in an action movie. Dragon Age was also a great game. At first, playing the game I thought it was a little awkward, but then I realized, “Hey, this is fantasy Mass Effect!” After that I had a bearing on how the game should be played and I really enjoyed it. Found out that Ticket to Ride is an XBLA game. They did a great job with it but so far I am getting ym ass kicked online. Need to re-think strategies. Also got an XBLA game called Shadow Complex. A lot like Metroid, really good game btu I am not done with it yet. Finished Borderlands. Really enjoyed the game though I think it had its flaws. A low variety of enemies was first and foremost, stat overload on the weapons kind of got annoying and the inventory system was a bit of a mess. Considering trying Bioshock 2 but I am not yet sold on it. Also playing a little World of Warcraft again … don’t judge me.
